DiVino.Taste is an exposition of Bulgarian wine producers with an accompanying programme of master classes and lectures, held annually in November.
In 2020, the exposition will bring together 64 of the best Bulgarian producers, who will present their wines to the demanding public of DiVino.Taste. Each winegrower has the right to participate with up to 7 wines, which will be presented by the owners or winemakers who have produced the wine. Every visitor will have an opportunity for direct contact with the people behind each of the participating Bulgarian cellars and will be able to experience and become acquainted with their concept and philosophy of winemaking. More than 500 of the best Bulgarian wines are at the disposal of visitors and they can taste them without limit.
Admission to the exposition is by ticket, and those who purchase tickets for at least one of the master classes will have access to all three days of the exhibition.
The master classes and lectures will enrich your knowledge of wine, enable you to meet the best Bulgarian wine experts and our foreign guests, who are of an exceptional level. Master classes are intended for medium and advanced wine lovers and professionals.
Inclusion in the master classes is by ticket, and those who purchase tickets for at least one of the master classes will have access to all three days of the exhibition.
The most significant forum for Bulgarian wine, DiVino.Taste, already has a 10-year history. The first edition in 2011 was held at the Central Military Club in Sofia and immediately became the largest forum for Bulgarian wine. Over the past eight years, the number of exhibitors has risen from 37 in the first edition to 75 in the latest so far, in November 2018. Visitors have also doubled, from almost 3,000 in 2011 to over 6,000 in the last two years.
For the past 9 years, the participants in the master classes and lectures have met the best Bulgarian wine experts as well as interesting foreign lecturers of an exceptionally high level, including world famous wine lovers such as Angelo Gaja, Michelle Roland, Daniele Cernilli, Tom Stevenson, Caroline Gilby…
The last two editions of DiVino.Taste, in 2018 and 2019, set a record with over 6,000 visitors and 75 exhibitors! A curious fact is that, over the three days of the forum, more than 50,000 wine glasses were washed in each of the last two years. Approximately 2 tons of ice were used to cool the wine!
