Izabela is wine journalist, educator, judge, and author based in Portugal. In 2023, she published his first book, Wild Yeast. Stories about wine, just translated in English, exploring the people, places, and traditions that shape the world of wine. The book received wide recognition, and its second part is scheduled for release in 2025. Beyond writing, Izabela is the creator of Ale Wino – the leading Polish YouTube channel about wine and the podcast Wild Yeast. Her projects bring audiences closer to the broader cultural and human context of winemaking. Alongside her journalism and storytelling, she also makes wine in Portugal, maintaining a direct connection with the land, the vineyard, and the realities of production.

We will also examine the modern winemaking techniques and fresh marketing approaches that are helping Polish producers build their identity and connect with local consumers.
